<br />4. Jeff Hoog asked about the heating unit problem that was in the Paris News. Mr. <br />Head explained that the outside contractor that we hired to do an inspection on all <br />(258) of the heating units. The contractor found some units that were a danger to <br />the tenants and we were forced to shut down the heating units. They were <br />ordered and replaced within 3-4 days. <br /> <br />5. We have contracted with Alabama Cushata and we now have 3 men working at <br />the PHA at no costs to the PHA. Alabama Cushata will pay these men for 13 <br />weeks with the hopes that they do a good job and if the PHA has any openings <br />these men could possibly be hired. <br /> <br />6. Within the next 2 months, we have found a crew to do a complete Energy <br />Efficiency Inspection which includes caulking, weather stripping, pressure testing <br />of the units, etc. at no costs to the Housing Authority. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS: <br />2004-42 Resolution to approve investment action of $100,000.00 out of the Public <br />Housing Account to a CD at Hibernia National Bank - motion to accept <br />made by Myrick Browning and seconded by Annette Grant - Passed 3-0 <br /> <br />2004-43 <br /> <br />Resolution to approve the contract for new Housing Software with <br />Lindsey & Co., Inc. - motion to accept made by Myrick Browning and <br />seconded by Annette Grant - Passed 3-0 <br /> <br />2004-44 <br /> <br />Resolution to approve changes to Schedule of Tenant Charges - motion to <br />accept made by Myrick Browning and seconded by Annette Grant - <br />Passed 3-0 <br /> <br />Motion was made for the adjournment of the meeting by Annette Grant and seconded by <br />Myrick Browning - adjournment 3-0.
