<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> e) No generator of liquid wastes shall <br /> fail to report spills involving liquid <br /> waste to the City by telephone <br /> immediately and clean ug and dispose of <br /> material immediately by proper means as <br /> specified in this paragraph (1). A <br /> written report should be reported within <br /> three (3) days to the director of <br /> utilities. <br /> (2) No person shall vacuum, flush, or service <br /> tanks or traps which contain liquid waste or <br /> portable chemical toilet wastes for the <br /> purpose ot transporting such waste to a site <br /> of disposal unless approval has been granted <br /> by the City. Prior to any operation in the <br /> City, all persons desiring to transport such <br /> wastes shall obtain a permit from the City as <br /> specified in Section (c)(2), and are <br /> prohibited from transporting hazardous wastes <br /> and from co-mingling hazardous waste with <br /> liquid waste or portable chemical toilet waste <br /> in permitted vehicles. <br /> Transporter of liquid waste shall: <br /> a) Use the manifest system as directed <br /> in Secti_ons 34-105(h) and 34-131(c)(6)c). <br /> b) Use a disposal site that is approved <br /> by the EPA, TWC, the Health Department <br /> and the City of Paris. <br /> c) Determine the nature of the material <br /> to be transparted and that the equipment <br /> is sufficient to properly remove the <br /> entire trap capacity without spillage, <br /> leaks, or release of toxic or harmful <br /> gases, fumes, liquids, or other <br /> substances. <br /> d) Upon delivery of the waste, the <br /> transporter shall inform the disposer of <br /> the nature ot the waste. <br /> (3) The method of disposal of liquid waste <br /> and portable chemical toilet wastes as well as <br /> disposal sites within the City shall be <br /> approved and monitored by the City. <br /> <br /> Disposal sites receiving liquid wastes <br /> shall: <br /> a) Obtain and maintain compliance with <br /> all licenses and/or permits required by <br /> local, state, or federal law. <br /> <br /> b) Accept waste only from a permitted <br /> transporter and sign the Trip Ticket from <br /> the transporter. <br /> c) Maintairi Trip Ticket copies for a <br /> period of three (3) yea-rs and make <br /> available all records required to be kept <br /> for inspection by the City at any reason- <br /> able time. <br /> d) Accept only those classes of waste <br /> authorized by license or permit. <br /> <br /> <br /> -34- <br />
