9.5. Znterior Tcim <br />A. Door trim must be H trim with mitered corneis and installed with an y y reveal, or specified <br />trim. <br />B. Wu►dow trim must be SPF lumber. Window stools must have mitered bull nosed front end. <br />C. Coiling trim, where needed, must be 1'/,d, cove mold with mitered joints and corners. <br />D. Baseboard and shoemold baseboard must either be a baso mold, or where adjoiaing existing base, <br />SPF lumber. <br />E. Shoe mold must be reyuired in every room where shcet vinyl or harci wood flooring exists or is <br />installed. <br />F. Wall trim must be used where paneling butts corner or where a wall is in two difforent planes. <br />Wall trim for paneling must be stain grade inside or outside corners. All other ust materials as <br />necessary. <br />10.0 E:terlor Sfding und Trim <br />10.1. Materials <br />A. Exterior sheatlung must be one of the following: <br />Wood boards or sheathing panels % b', thick (no plywood) <br />2. Hardboard over studs 16b' or 24b', on center Sg 1Y, thick <br />3. Hardboac+d over existing siding Y8 d thick <br />4. Cement board Lap Siding on studs 16", on center. <br />B. If siding is to be replaced it must be: <br />Wood siding not less than 5I8b', unless installed over sheathing. All srding must be "C" <br />grade ar better, free from loose knots and splits. <br />2• Plywood mwst be of exterior grade and must have a Wickness of 5/8d. <br />3. Match existing as required. <br />C. All siding replacement must be of conforming pattern, type, and color. If unable to match, entire <br />sducture must be painted to make color uniform. <br />D. Exterior trim must be presen+ative treated wolmanized lumber where contact with water is lilcely. <br />OWerwise lumber used must be #2 yellow pine. <br />E. Building face brick muat be of gas fited solid cley shale units. Structural clay tile, concrete <br />masonry units, aad stone must comply with FHA specifications, Section 703. <br />F. Al] fasteners must be non-corrosive nails. <br />14.2. All new exterior siding must be completed with material of like quality over 15# felt paper.
