(2) Where sufficient additional circuits are added that require a master switch. (k) That no person9 firm oroorporation shall cover up any electrical wir- ing in the process of construction without inspection by the Electrical Inspector of the City of Paris, and the Electrical Inspector of the City of Paris shall have the authority to require any personp firm or corporation, which has so covered electrical wiring in the process of construction, to uncover such wiring or elec- trical equipment which has been concealed without an inspection by the Electrical Inspector. (1) Section 210-22, Subsection. (b) of said National Electrical Code is hereby amended to read as follows: That on all dwelling type occupancies, in every kitchen, dining room, breakfast room, living room, parlora library, den, sunroom, recreation room, and bedrooma receptacle outlets shall be installed so that no point along the floor line in any useable wall space is more than 6 feet, measured horizontally from an outlet in that space, including any useable wall space Z feet wide or greater and the wall space occupied by sliding panels in exterior walls. The receptacle outlets shall, insofar as practi- cable, be spaced equal distances apart. RPceptacle out- lets in floors shall not be counted as part of the required number of receptacle outlets unless Iocated close to the w all. (m) Service Entrance Cables: All service entrance cables from the meter socket to the panel shall be installed in either of the following three ways: (1) The disconnect shall be located back of the meter in inside of wall w;th conduit nipple. (2) If the service entrance cable is placed in conduit from fhe meter socket to the panel, no main disconnect shall be required at themPter. (3) Any service cable from the meter socket to the panel shall have a main fuse disconnect at meter. (n) The minimum size of all service disconnects shall be 50 amp, (o) Service Panel Breakers: All service panel breakers, known as Piggy- back, tandums, twins, thins, or any other of this type disconnect, are hereby prohibited on new or repair installations. (p) No trailer house will be installed and connected with the electrical ser- vice, which does not have a driven ground or water pipe ground connected to the trailer house and equipped with polarized plug ins. 5ection 6. RESPJNSIBILITY FOR SAFE WORK, This ordinance shall not be construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility or liability of any party owning, operating, controlling or installing any electrical equipment for damages to persons or property caused by any defect therein, nor shall the City of Paris be held as assuming any such liability9 by reason of the inspection or reinspection authorized herein; or the certificate of approval issued as herein provided; or by reason of the approval or disapproval of any equipment authorized herein. The person chosen to fill this office shall have had at least six years experience as an electrician, or s~all be a graduate of an approved School of Electrical Engineering, or a licensed Eiectrical Engineer with two years experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
