No Permit shall be required for the installation of wiring, devices and equip- <br />ment, for telephone or telegraph companies engaged in the business of supplying <br />communication service and operating under a franchise from the City of Parisy <br />Texas, <br />Permits wi_ll not be required for maintenance work done by any person, firm <br />or corporation through an employee or employees regularly employed to do such <br />maintenance work solely on or within the premises of property owned or controU.ed <br />by such person, firm or corporation9 provided, however, such maintenance work <br />shall not include the installation of any new work or additions to existing installa- <br />tions, <br />FEES FOR PERM.LTS AND INSPECTIONS. Before any Permit is granted for <br />the insta ation, alteration or repair of any e ectrical wiring, devices or equip- <br />ment, the person9 firm or corporation making application for such permit shall <br />pay to the City of Paris, Texas, a fee in the amount so specified herein. For new <br />work or addition to old work permit f.ees shall be as follows: <br />(a.) That in the event any work is <br />commenced wi.thout having procured a permit <br />as provided for in said ordinance, then the fee <br />shall be fifty cents (50~) pe.r day in addition to <br />the charges set forth in (a) through (h) above, <br />for each dayts delay in procuring said permit. <br />There is hereby established a mi.nimum <br />electrical permit fee of $2. 00, provided, <br />however that there shall be no fee for a <br />permit covering not more than three (3) <br />wall outlets. <br />
