g-7, HpLF pNID HALF - Half and half is a product cnnsisting of a mix- <br />tvre of milk and cream which contains not less than 11.5 percent milkfat. <br />g..9, REpDN,'TITU'IED, OR REWNBINED 9 HAI.F ADID HAI.F • Reconstituted, or <br />recombined, half and half is a product resulting from the combination of re- <br />constituted milk or reconstituted skim milk with cream or reconstituted creamg <br />which contains not less than 11.5 percent milkfat. <br />g_g, yVHlppEp (REAM - Whipped cream is cream to which a harmless gas <br />has been added to cause whipping of the product. It may also contain svgart <br />other harmless flavoringg and a harmless stabilizer. <br />C. CON(ENTRAIED WIK - Concentrated milk is a fluid product unsteri- <br />lized and unsweetenedp resulti.ng from the removal of a considerable portion of <br />the water frnm milk. When rec.ambined with waterg in accordance with instruc- <br />tions printed on the containers the resulting product conforms with the stan-- <br />dards for milkfat and solids-not-fat of milk as defined above. <br />C-1. ODNCENTRATED MII1C PRODUCTS - Concentrated milk products shall be <br />taken to mean and to include homogenized concentrated milk, vitamin D concen- <br />trated milks concentrated skim milkg concentrated flavored milk, concentrated <br />flavared drink, and similar concentrated products made from concentrated milk <br />or concentrated skim milkv as the case may beg and whicht when recombined with <br />water in accordance with instructions printed on the containerg conform with <br />the definitions of the corresponding milk products in this section. <br />G2. DRY AII1C --Dry milk is milk from which at least 95 percent of <br />the water has been removed. <br />D. SKIM MIIK - Skim milk is milk from which a sufficient portion of <br />milkfat has been removed to reduce its milkfat content to less than 4 percent. <br />D•1, NONFAT, FAT-FREEs OR DEFATTED MIIK - Nonfats fat-freep or de- <br />fatted milk is skim milk which contains not more than 0.1 percent tnilkfat. <br />D-2. SKIM-MIIK SOLID6 - Skim-milk solids shall be deemed to include <br />wncentrated skim milk andnonfat dry-mi.lk solidg. <br />D-3. NONFAT DRY-MIIIC SOLID6 • Nonfat dry-mi.lk solids shall mean nonfat <br />milk from which at least 95 percent of the water has been removed. <br />E. FIAVORED IuQIK - Flavored milk is a beverage or confection consirting <br />of milk to which has been added a syrup or flavor made from wholesome ingre- <br />dients. <br />E•1. FIAVORED DRINK, OR FIAVORED DAIRY DRINK - Flavored drink, or <br />flavored dairy drink, is a beverage or confection consisting of skim milk to <br />which has been added a syrup or flavor made from wholesome ingredients. <br />E--2. FIAVORED REDONSTITUTED AUIK - Flavored reconstituted milk is a <br />flavored milk made from reconstituted milk. <br />N <br />
