As specified in Divisions 00 and 01 apply to ail work in this Section.. <br /> <br />1.02 DESCRIIYrlON OF WORK <br /> <br /> A. Work Included: Masonry cleaning of discolored stone by use of a low pressure wash <br /> of distilled water and non-ionic detergents. Cleaning of graffiti disfigured masonry by <br /> use of organic and/or petroleum based solvent poultices. In all instances, high <br /> pressure washing, steam cleaning, chemicai cleaning, aerosol graffiti removers and <br /> mechanical cleaning methods are expressly forbidden. <br /> <br />1.03 TESTING & ANALYSIS: <br /> <br /> A. Field testing and adjustment of cleaning methodologies is required in order to <br /> achieve an aesthetically compatible and non-destructive cleaning system. <br /> This process is expected to require considerable triai and error in the way <br /> of preparation of multiple field samples and test patches. Contractor shall <br /> allot adequate time and resources to conduct this work. <br /> <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS: <br /> <br /> A. Submittal of manufacturer's literature for formulated graffiti removai products and <br /> commerciai paint strippers. <br /> <br /> B.
