Work Included: Repair and rehabilitation of existing file roofing to include, <br /> <br /> 1. Inspection of existing roofing tile and calculation of required replacement tile. <br /> 2. Removal, sorting, salvage and on-site storage of existing roofing tile. <br /> 3. Inspection and repair of roof substrate, sheathing as per Drawings and as <br /> indicated by inspection results. <br /> 4. Installation of all flashings and gutters (specified in Section 07600). <br /> 5. Installation of roofing felt. <br /> 6. Installation of asphaltic roll roofing. <br /> 7. Installation of salvaged original roofing file and replica roofing tile. <br /> 8. Repair of fiat file vertical cladding at donners, including partial file removal, substrate <br /> repair, tile replacement. <br /> <br /> B. Related Work in other sections, Section 07600 Flashing & Sheet Metal. <br /> <br />1.02 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> <br /> A. Requirements of General and Supplementary conditions, Division 00 and Division 01 apply <br /> to all work in this section. <br /> <br /> B. Requirements of Section 02050 DEMOLITION apply to all work in this section. <br /> <br /> C. Applicator shall have a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in the installation and/or <br /> rehabilitation of file roofing systems and shall exhibit a thorough knowledge of the <br /> technological aspects of historic tile roofing systems. <br /> <br />1.03 SUBMITTAL: <br /> <br /> A. Contzactor shall submit samples of roof file, manufacturer's descriptive literature and full <br /> technical and installation specifications for review and approval. Contractor shall prepare a <br /> 3'-0 x3'-0 field mock-up of file installation for inspection and approval of Constmedon <br /> Manager prior to proceeding with tile installation. <br /> <br />1.04 INSPECTION & SCHEDULING: <br /> <br /> A. Contractor shall submit inspection requests to Construction Manager following completion <br /> of the following work phases.
