Work Included: Provide gypsum board, joint treaUnent~ and accessories. Application <br /> of plaster finish coat. <br /> <br /> B. Manufacturers: U.S.G. drywall system is specified. The equivalent systems of Gold <br /> Bond or Domtar Gypsum board may be used at the Contractor's option. The <br /> interchanging of portions of the systems will not be permitted. <br /> <br />1.02 INCORPORATED DOCUMENTS: <br /> <br /> A. GENERAL CONDITIONS and DIVISIONS 00 and 01 apply to all work of this <br /> section. <br /> <br /> B. All gypsum wallboard work shall conform to procedures and techniques <br /> recommended in the following: <br /> <br /> 1. "Standard specifications for Gypsum Wallboard Interior Finishes", American <br /> National Standards Institute#A97.1. <br /> <br /> 2. "Dry Wall Construction" manual published by Drywall Industry Trust Fund, <br /> Los Angeles, California. <br /> <br /> 3. American Society for Testing and Materials. If reference specifications and <br /> this PROJECT MANUAL conflict, comply with stricter requirements. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br /> A. Water resistant Gypsum Wallboard conforming to ASTM C630-78 in wet areas <br /> (not for tile or marble underlayment). <br /> <br /> B. Gypsum Wallboard: Type X, 5/8" thick. <br /> <br /> C. Joint Reinforcing Tape, Adhesive and Comer Reinforcement: Standard <br /> product recommended by manufacturer of gypsum wallboard used.
