July 10, 2001 <br /> <br />SECTION 01200 ALLOWANCES <br /> <br />SECTION 01200: ALLOWANCES <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 GENERAL CONDITIONS <br /> A. As specified in Divisions 00 and 01 apply to all work in this Section.. <br /> <br />1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> <br /> A. Work Included: Provision of all allowances specified herein or by Addenda. <br /> <br />1.03 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br /> A. The amount of each allowance includes: <br /> <br /> 1. The actual cost of the item paid by the Contractor or subcontractor, less any <br /> applicable trade discounts. <br /> <br /> 2. Delivery to the Project site. <br /> <br /> 3. Labor required under the allowance, only when labor is specified to be <br /> included in the allowance. Otherwise, all labor costs are included to be included <br /> in the Contractors' Contract Sum and are not part of the allowance amount. <br /> <br /> 4. Applicable taxes for products and for labor, when labor is specified to be <br /> included in the allowance. <br /> <br /> 5. Each subcontractor shall be legally recognized under the laws of the State of Texas <br /> and carry all applicable insurance and licenses as required by the Owner. <br /> <br /> B. In addition to, and separate from, the amount of each allowance, include in the Contract Sum <br /> the Contractor's costs for: <br /> <br /> 1. Temporary storage of materials and equipment offsite, or in areas onsite if so <br /> designated by the Construction Manager. <br /> <br /> 2. Handling at the site, including unloading, uncrating, and storage. <br /> <br /> 3. Protection from elements, damage and Builders Risk Insurance naming the City of <br /> Paris as an insured. <br /> <br /> 4. Labor for installation and finishing, except where labor is specified to be part of the <br /> allowance. <br /> <br /> 5. Other costs required to complete the installation. <br /> <br /> 6.
