As specified in Divisions 00 and 01 apply to all work in this Section.. <br /> <br /> 1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> <br /> A. Work Included: Provision, maintenance, and removal of facilities and controls <br /> required to execute work of this Project efficiently and successfully including, <br /> but not necessarily limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Protective measures. <br /> 2. Utilities. <br /> 3. Construction aids. <br /> 4. Barriers. <br /> 5. Control of traffic. <br /> 6. Nuisances generated by work of construction. <br /> 7. Field office <br /> 8. Existing Tenant Protection <br /> <br />B. Work Included in Other Sections: <br /> <br /> 1. Provision of Owner furnished products and services, SUMMARY OF <br /> WORK Section. <br /> <br /> 2. Provisions of protective measures described with respect to specific unit of <br /> work, specific specification Section. <br /> <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br /> A. Structural Engineer and Surveyor: Where required for engineering temporary <br /> facilities or aiding in construction, Owner shall employ Structural Engineer <br /> and/or Surveyor licensed in the State of Texas. <br /> <br /> B. Temporary Facilities: Adequate for intended use and for loads imposed without <br /> excessive settlement, deflection, or deformation. Parts shall be properly supported, <br /> wedged, and secured to prevent displacement or failure. <br /> <br /> C. Regulatory Agency Requirements: Contractors shall comply with applicable regulatory <br /> agencies: <br /> <br /> 1.
