Temporary facilities shall comply with City, State and County ordinances, <br /> building codes, statutes, laws, rules, and regulations relating to same, federal <br /> OSHA requirements, and with authorities and insurance companies having <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> <br />1.04 JOB CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> A. Access: Maintain free and unimpeded access to and egress from site, as well as to <br /> adjacent properties. Provide written and/or graphic plans showing access for owner and <br /> construction manager's review. <br /> <br /> 1. Whenever interference with normal street and sidewalk traffic becomes necessary <br /> for proper and convenient performance of the work, and no satisfactory <br /> detour route exists, before beginning the interference provide satisfactory <br /> detour, temporary bridge, or other proper facilities for traffic to pass around or <br /> over interference, and maintain in satisfactory condition as long as interference <br /> continues. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic direction must be conducted in <br /> accordance with requirements for such by the City of Paris. <br /> <br />B. Protection: <br /> <br /> 1. Carefully maintain existing bench marks, monuments, and other survey <br /> control references. <br /> <br /> 2. Take precaution at all times to protect persons, including the Contractors' <br /> employees, subcontractors and their employees, the public and property <br /> affected in any way by the Work, especially guard against or eliminate <br /> hazardous conditions. Erect a barriers to insure against public access to the <br /> site. <br /> <br /> 3. Protect work and materials from damage due to building operation, from action <br /> of weather, from carelessness of other Contractors, from vandalism, and <br /> from any other cause until completion and the Owner's acceptance of the <br /> work. Install protective coverings as required to protect original and existing <br /> materials, components, fixtures and finishes from potential damage from <br /> ongoing work. <br /> <br /> 4. Secure covers for openings into ducts, piping, etc., and covering apparatus, <br /> fixtures, and appliances both before and after setting into place to prevent <br /> obstruction, breakage or disfigurement. <br /> <br /> 5. Provide sight, noise and access protection to allow ongoing excursion train <br /> functions to proceed unimpeded in a manner acceptable to the Construction <br /> Manager and Owner. Perform pre-weekend cleanup every week as <br /> necessary to insure continuation of excursion trainfuncfions. Maintain <br /> safe, unimpeded access to Job Site Office. Provide for Owner and <br /> Construction Manager approval of proposed actions. <br /> <br /> Section 01500 <br /> Page 2-6 <br /> <br /> <br />
