Constxuct barricades, fences, railings, waterproof covered walks, and similar safety <br /> precautions in accordance with industry recognized safety standards. Remove barriers <br /> prior to final acceptance and restore surfaces damaged by erection of ban'icades to <br /> original condition. <br /> <br /> B. Project Barricade: <br /> 1. Provide project fencing for protection of Project site from within and from <br /> without and for protection of the public from construction and its operations. <br /> Provide fencing to provide noise and sight protection. Provide description <br /> of proposed actions to Construction Manager for approval prior to erection. <br /> <br /> C. Covers for Openings: Secure covers for openings into ducts, piping, etc. in <br /> accordance with industry recognized safety standards. <br /> <br /> D. Scaffolding: Provide as required for execution of any part of the Work. <br /> <br /> E. Cranes, Hoists or Chutes: Provide as required for movement of personnel, materials, or <br /> equipment. <br /> <br />3.04 SECURITY <br /> <br /> A. Provide construction period security measures at Project site. <br /> <br /> B. Provide keying different from permanent keying of locks and include organized, <br /> locked, and supervised storage for receiving and dispensing items of Contractors' <br /> hardware, stored historic materials and components, etc., throughout construction <br /> <br /> C. Permanent Keys: Immediately upon r~ipt of permanent keys for whatever purpose, <br /> tag or otherwise clearly identify keys according to one Constraction Manager approved <br /> key control system and deliver keys to Construction Manager prior to the opportunity <br /> of access to keys by parties other than the Owner. <br /> <br />3.05 SPECIAL CONTROLS <br /> <br />A. Rubbish and Debris: <br /> <br /> 1. Dispose of accumulations of rubbish and debris in manner satisfactory to <br /> Construction Manager and in accordance with local ordinances and the State <br /> Health Department. Recycle all recyclable materials in accordance with local <br /> recycling ordinances. <br /> <br /> 2. No burning will be permitted at the Project site. <br /> <br />B.
