CONTRACTOR shall provide for all <br />additional lands and access thereto that may be required for <br />temporary construction facilities or storage of materials and <br />equipment. <br />Pkysical Condiliarss: <br />i: 4.2. 1. Esplorations nnd Reporrs: Reference is made <br />to the Supplementary Conditions for identification of those <br />reports of explorations and tests of subsurface conditions <br />a[ the site that have been utilized by ENGINEER in prep- <br />azation of the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR may <br />rely upon the accuracy of the technical data contained in <br />such repoRS, but not upon nontechnical data, interpreta- <br />tions or opinions contained therein or for the compleceness <br />thereof for CONTRACTOR's purposes. Except as indi- <br />cated in the immediately preceding sentence and in paa- <br />graph 4.2.6, CONTRACTOR shall have full responsibiliry <br />with respect to subsurface conditions at the site. <br />4,2Z, Esisting Strucrtves: Reference is made to the <br />Supp(emencary Conditions for identification of those <br />d2wings of physical conditions in or relating [o existing <br />surface and subsurface structures (excep[ Underground <br />Facilities referred to in paragraph 43) which are at or. <br />contiguous to the site fhat have been utilized by ENGI- <br />NEER in preparation of the Contcac[ Documents_CON- <br />'I'RACTOR may rely upon the accucacy of the technical <br />data concained in such drawings, but not for the complete- <br />ness thereof for CONTRACI'OR's purposes. Except as <br />indicated in the immediately preceding sentence and in <br />paragaph 4.2.6. CONTRACTOR shall have full respon- <br />sibility wi[h respect to physical conditions in or relating <br />to such strucwres. <br />4.23. Report of Dijfering Conditions: If CONTRAC- <br />TOR believes that:, <br />4.23.1. any technical data on which CONTRAC- <br />TOR is entitled to rely as provided in paragraphs 4.2.1 <br />and 4.2.2 is inaccurate, or <br />4.2.3.2. any physical condition uncovered or <br />revealed at the site differs materially from that indi- <br />cated, reflected or rcferred to in the Contract Docu- <br />ments. <br />CONTRACTOR shall, promptty after becominS aware <br />thercof and befora perEorming any Work in connection <br />in the Contract thcrewith (except in an emergency as permitted bY pam- <br />k is to be per- graph 6.22), notiCy OWNER and ENGINEER in wricing <br />ess thereto, and about the inaccuracy or dillerence. <br />4-0 <br />
