A motion was made by Councilman Plata, seconded by <br />Councilman Gray, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester announced that Agenda Item 5C, authorizing the execution of <br />a Lease of the City of Paris's three-tenths (3/10) undivided interest in and to <br />Lots 1, 2, and 2A, City Block 201-B to the Lamar County Chamber of <br />Commerce, had been tabled, and a motion was needed to bring it from the <br />table. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman <br />McCarthy, to bring Agenda Item 5C from the table. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-150, approving the form of the lease with the Chamber of <br />Commerce of Lamar County, Inc., for the City of Paris's undivided interest in <br />and to Lots 1, 2, and 2A, City Block 201-B, and authorizing and directing the <br />Mayor of the City of Paris to execute said lease agreement with the Chamber <br />of Commerce of Lamar County, Inc., was presented. A motion was made by <br />Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiesterannounced thatAgenda Item No. 5-D, authorizing the execution <br />of the agreement with the Visitors and Convention Council/Chamber of <br />Commerce of Lamar County, Inc., related to the use of Hotel/Motel taxes had <br />been tabled, and a motion was needed to bring it from the table. <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to bring Agenda Item No. 5-D from the table. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-151, approving the form of the contractwith the Chamber <br />of Commerce of Lamar County, Inc., for maintaining the Visitors and <br />Convention Council, and authorizing the Mayorto execute on behalf of the City <br />of Paris the said contract, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the resolution. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
