This one-time <br />cost of living adjustment will cover the period October 1, 2000 through <br />December 31, 2000. It will be approximately 3% of the expected <br />compensation for that three month period. Payment is expected to be <br />made on December 21, 2000." <br />The City Manager introduced Maria Pope of the Engineering Department to <br />give a presentation of the City's website. He advised Council that the City <br />launched the site a year ago and took it down about two weeks ago. Maria <br />Pope has improved the original offering and has added a lot of content which <br />will be improved over time. <br />Ms. Pope came forward giving the City Council a handoutshowing screen type <br />samples of what some of the departments will look like on the website. Ms. <br />Pope gave the City Council a presentation of her goals, the progress made to <br />date, and how she approached the creation of the website. <br />Mayor Pfiester suggested placing a notice in the water bills notifying the <br />public of the City's website. <br />City Manager Malone reported that the city is reviewing the architect's <br />recommendations for the changes to be made in order for the second bid to <br />go out on the Santa Fe - Frisco Depot Project. He stated that it is hoped that <br />we can advertise for bids in January. The Manager reported that Fire and EMS <br />Station No. 2 on Pine Mill Road is 75% complete and it is hoped that it will be <br />completed in late January. Mr. Malone reported that Fire station No. 4 on <br />Jefferson Road at 24t" S.E. is 65% complete and should be completed by late <br />February. With regard to the Eastgate Subdivision, the Manager reported that <br />the streets are 95% complete, the water and sewer is 80% complete, and the <br />lift station is on order and is due to be delivered in January. The Neatherly <br />Street Drainage Project is 95% complete and the city is having to reduce the <br />crown on the street with the job to be completed in one or two weeks. Mr. <br />Malone also reported on one of the projects being accomplished as part of the <br />SSES report by ADS Environmental Services, that being the construction of <br />the new section of 36 inch outfall sewer line. Mr. Malone reported that the line <br />is now 85% complete. He stated that project proposals have been received for <br />the Main Street Downtown Streetscape Project and these proposals will be <br />
