Participation by Neighborhood Enterprise Associations Each neighborhood enterprise association organized under Subchapter E should: (1) actively participate in the administration of the enterprise zone for which the association was organized; and (2) be encouraged to participate in planning and carrying out activities in the enterprise zone. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, 1, 0, eff. Sept. 1, 1993. § 2303.204. Liaison The governing body of an enterprise zone shall designate a liaison to communicate and negotiate with: (1) the department; (2) the administrative authority, if one exists; (3) an enterprise project; and (4) other entities in or affected by the enterprise zone. Annual Report (a) Not later than October 1 of each year, the governing body of an enterprise zone shall submit to the department a report in the form required by the department. (b) The report must be approved by the enterprise zone's administrative authority, if one exists. (c) The report must include for the year preceding the date of the report: (1) a list of local incentives for community development available in the zone; (2) the use of local incentives for which the governing body provided in the ordinance or order nominating the enterprise zone and the effect of those incentives on revenue; (3) the number of businesses assisted, located, and retained in the zone since its designation due to the existence of the enterprise zone; (4) a summary of all industrial revenue bonds issued to finance projects located in the zone; and (5) a description of all efforts made to attain revitalization goals for the zone. ://www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/go/go230300.html 1/12/2002
