S. <br />! EPA, fincinnati, Ohio. The projed included the development of nationol standords for the installation of Parshall Flumes and <br />3 palmer-Bowlus Flumes or all sizes. The projed was conducted by the U. S. EPA and the National Institute of Standards and <br />Technology (previously the NBS). <br />~ <br />~ • Water and Wastewater Master Plan, Edinburg, Texas, Principal-in-Charge far a Wostewater Moster Plan for the Ciry of Edinburg <br />and its eztraterritorial jurisdidion, including several colonias. This Master Plan will guide the City's development in water and <br />~ wastewater for the next twenry years. Total planning area cavered 136 square miles. The following areas of concern are being <br />' studied i„ order to evaluate and make recommendations for the Ciys infrastrudure: <br />- Analyze cu«ent waste water system and future demands <br />31 - Evaluate existing wastewater colledion facilities <br />- Evaluate existing wastewater treatment facilities <br />~ - Analyze current wostewater system and flow records <br />~ - Evaluate existing pumping and treatment facilities <br />- Development of water nnd wostewoter hydraulic models <br />~ <br />2 As a toal for evaluoting these concerns, o Geographic Information System (GIS) for the City wos developed concurrently with an <br />overall Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). financial requirements associated with the CIP were identified as well as potential <br />~ funding sources. In oddition, several lift stations were eliminated because of the analysis. <br />1 <br />3 <br />i <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br />i <br />Raw Water Pump Station and Transmission line, Ciry of Palestine, Texas, Principal-In-fharge for the design of a 15 MGD raw <br />water pump statian and 11 miles of 36-inch raw water transmission main. The projed includes improvements to an existing <br />intake strudure, a new eledrical and chlorine diozide building, stand-by generator sets, the pump station, and the <br />transmission main. Services being provided include right-of-way acquisition, surveying, preparation of a design report, design, <br />surge anolysis, construdion administratian, and construction inspection. Estimated construdion cam are S 8 million. <br />Raw Water Pump Station and Tronsmission Line, Kinder Morgan; Quality Control for this projed that includes 27-miles of <br />transmission moin, a baloncing reservoir, and o new raw water pump station. Design flow for the projed in southeast <br />Oklahoma is 5 MGD and the estimated projed costs are S10 million. <br />~ <br />a <br />a <br />
