Diviaion 3-A Concrete Form Work <br />CONCRETE FORM 1PORR <br />GENERAL: Fully cooperate with other trades in the <br />installation of their sleeves, bolts, supports, etc. Comply <br />with all requirements of the "General Requirements". All <br />labor and material under this Division shall be guaranteed <br />in accordance with the General Requirements. See Division <br />2 for Excavation and Dirt Work. <br />3COPE: This section includes all concrete form work. <br />Furnish and erect all forms with required bracing, <br />ties, offsets, chamfei strips, and key joints as <br />specified and required to contain the liquid weight of <br />concrete to a true line. <br />MATERIAL: Forms shall be approved steel forms or 5/8" form <br />ply with 2 X 4 frame. Forms for beams shall be approved <br />steel forms or 5/8" form plywood. Keyed construction <br />joints shall be equal to Heckmann Building Products galv. <br />steel keyed and punched for extending reinforcing steel and <br />of size shown. <br />WORimlAN3HIP: All forms shall be set to a true line, braced <br />and tied to contain liquid concrete. Provide stakes and <br />braces to hold top and bottom of form. Provide jacks, <br />shoring and form ties designed to carry required loads. <br />Oil form treatment shall be applied to forms before steel <br />is in place. Wipe off excess oil. Provide all chamfers, <br />ledges, and strips to pattern concrete panels. Provide a <br />sufficient quantity of forms to not delay construction. <br />Note special forms required for: steps, door sills, and <br />hold downs in floor. Install cartons under all grade <br />beams and wall panels between piers as shown. Lay to tight <br />joint and cut to close void at pier. <br />16 <br />
