3 Division 15-A <br />P1umUing <br />SLEEVES IN CONCRETE: Special care shall be taken locating <br />drains and service lines in concrete prior to pouring. <br />Provide sleeves for drains and traps. If layout differs <br />from plans, provide drawing for approval prior to placing <br />pipe. No water line shall come in contact with poured <br />concrete. Provide Armaflex cover for pipe from below <br />grade, through concrete, to above grade. <br />J <br />EXISTING WALK3, STREETS, AND DRIVES: Where plumbing lines <br />go under existing concrete, the Plumber shall score with <br />concrete saw, break out concrete with jackhammer, make <br />required excavation, place piping, back fill, and compact. <br />Concrete shall be replaced by others. <br />WA3TE AND VENT PIPE AND FITTING3: Provide schedule 40, <br />_ pVC plastic drain pipe and fittings with primed and <br />cemented joints as recommended by the pipe manufacturer. <br />Pipe shall comply with ASTMD2665. Vent stacks, risers and <br />all rough-in shall be Schedule 40, PVC. <br />YARD SEWER LINES: Shall be Schedule 90 PVC pipe <br />and fittings with compression type neoprene joints. <br />CLEANOUTS: Accessible cleanouts shall be installed in all <br />waste lines as required by code and as shown on plans. <br />All cleanouts shall have removable plugs. Cleanouts <br />inside of buildings shall be concealed behind chrome <br />plated covers as Josam # 56600 set with center screw into <br />pipe plug. Cleanouts in finish floor shall be Josam 56000 <br />ABS set flush with floor. Cleanouts in yard shall be set <br />flush with finished grade after finish is set, and shall <br />be covered with plastic box with plastic lid. Cleanouts <br />in concrete shall be Josam #58400 with Bronze plug. <br />RoOF FLA3HING: Vent through roof shall be flashed with 4 <br />lb. sheet lead with lead extending 8" away on all sides, <br />turned in.at top, and made water tight. <br />43 <br />
