Division 15-A <br />Plumbing <br />FIAOR DRAINS: shall be of size and location shown on <br />plan. The strainers shall be of brass, with chrome <br />finish. Strainers shall be adjustable to the finished <br />floor surface including floor covering. The following <br />numbers are taken from the catalogue of Wade. Equal <br />products of other manufacture may be used when approved <br />by Architect. <br />Unless otherwise required floor drain bodies shall be <br />1120. Drains shown with cleanouts shall be W-1120-CO <br />with adjustable strainer and screwed on brass plate. <br />TRENCH DRAIN: Furnish and install Trench Drain as <br />shown on plans as "POLYDRAIN" manufactured by A.B.T. <br />- Inc. Phone Number (972) 716-4342. Polydrain should be <br />custom made to drain and set to top of floor. It shall <br />be 4" wide inside and slope 0.6%. <br />WATER PIPE AND FITTINGS: Water pipe above grade within <br />the building area shall be Type L hard copper. Under <br />floor water pipe shall be Type L soft copper without <br />joints and shall comply with ASTM C425. Fittings shall <br />be sweat joint type using lead-free solder. The ends <br />of pipe shall be reamed to full diameter and cleaned <br />with garnet paper. Where copper pipe connects to iron <br />pipe, install approved insulating couplings. Water <br />lines outside of building shall be Type L soft copper <br />with sweated fittings. <br />/w ~ <br />
