DIVISION 15-B <br />, HEATING AND A/C <br />HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING AND VENTILATING <br />GENERALLY: Bidders shall carefully examine the general <br />plans and.specifications, visit the site, and fully inform <br />themselves as to the condition under which they must work. <br />Should the Bidder find discrepancies or omissions in the <br />plans and specifications, or should he be in doubt as to <br />their intent, he should obtain clarification prior to <br />submitting his bid. <br />GUARANTEE; This Contractor shall guarantee all materials, <br />equipment and labor of this division as called for in <br />General Requirements. This'guarantee shall include the <br />performance of the component parts of the system in strict <br />. accordance with the intent of the specifications. <br />Compressors shall carry a factory 5- year guarantee <br />starting from the date of final acceptance. Such <br />guarantee shall be delivered to the Architect prior to <br />final payment. All forms required by the manufacturer for <br />guarantee shall be filled out and mailed by this <br />Contractor and shall be dated at time of approval and <br />acceptance of the work. <br />TESTING ANp ppJ7gTING: Upon completion, this Sub- <br />Contractor shall set all valves, dampers, motors, <br />thermostats etc., and demonstrate that the system will <br />maintain proper temperature and air circulation. <br />~ sCOPE: This contract includes all equipment, labor, and <br />devices shown and required for a complete working system, <br />including: cooling and heating equipment, ventilation <br />equipment, flashing of required openings, louvers, grilles <br />and registers, duct system, stacks, roof caps, and <br />equipment bases, as shown on plans and required. The <br />following work shall be done by other trades but shall <br />have this Contractor's cooperation, guidance and final <br />connection, cutting and framing for ducts and grilles, <br />concrete slab for compressors,.gas service to heating <br />equipment, drains for condensate, electrical work as shown <br />and explained hereinafter. <br />CODE3, FEE3, PERMIT3 AND IN3PECTION3• Comply with ordinances, codes and regulations having jurisdiction over <br />the work. Give the proper authorities all requisite <br />_ notice relating to the work and be responsible for all <br />violation of law. Obtain any permits required and pay all <br />fees therefor. <br />
