DIVISION 15-B <br />AEATING AND A/C <br />COOPERATION: Cooperate with other trades and- arrange A/C <br />work so as to cause the least delay in their work. Give <br />proper notice to the General Contractor, and the various <br />trades regarding the installation of A/C work. Changes in <br />the location of pipes, ducts, etc., shall be submitted for <br />approval. Conflict with the work of other trades shall be <br />promptly reported to the Architect for solution. The roof <br />will be guaranteed by the Roofer and every effort must be <br />made to install roof vents, flashings, equipment, curbs, <br />etc., before or during the application of roof. If, for <br />any reason, additional roofing work is necessary after the <br />completion of roof, caused by installation of equipment, <br />this Contractor shall make the necessary arrangements with <br />the Roofer to so such work so that he may provide proper <br />guarantee. <br />DRAWINGS: Drawings indicate the general arrangement of <br />equipment. Changes in arrangement shall not be made <br />without approval. Work shall be laid out with due <br />consideration Por the work of other trades. Call attention <br />_ to any interferences encountered before any material is <br />fabricated. Relocation, if required, shall be made at no <br />additional cost to Owner. <br />SUHSTITUTZON OF MATERIAL• Where equipment of a particular <br />manufacturer is specified it is intended to represent the <br />quality and type required. Should the Bidder desire to <br />use equipment other than that specified, he shall secure <br />approval prior to the opening bids. Promptly after the <br />award of the contract and before the fabrication of any <br />material, a complete schedule of proposed materials and <br />equipment shall be submitted to the Architect for <br />approval. No substitution for the material specified will <br />be allowed without approval. <br />SUBMITTIALS TO ARCHITECT• Submittal data shall be <br />submitted in quintuplicate before any equipment is <br />installed on the job. All shop drawings shall bear signed <br />certification to the effect that this Sub-COntractor has <br />carefully checked shop drawing and found them to be <br />correct with respect to dimensions and available space and <br />that the equipment complies with all requirements of the <br />specifications. The submittal data shall include all <br />heating and air conditioning equipment, fans and other <br />operating equipment, grilles, registers, diffusers, <br />thermostats, etc. <br />1A <br />
