DIVISION 15-B <br />HEATINGAND A/C <br />EQUIPMENT BASES AND SUPPORT3: Compressors shall be placed <br />on concrete pads furnished by others. <br />VIBRATION Z30LATION: This Sub-Contractor shall assume <br />full responsibility for noise or vibration of any piece of <br />equipment or apparatus and shall take this into account in <br />the design of bases and supports. Furnish and install <br />vibration isolators for all moving equipment and all ducts <br />connected thereto. All isolators shall be Korfund, <br />Kynasonic, or approved equal, of size and type recommended <br />by manufacturer, and installed according to instructions. <br />Install 21-0" section of flexible duct at the register, <br />where concealed, omit when ducts are exposed. Upon <br />completion the system shall be free from objectionable <br />noise and vibration as approved by Architect. <br />VENTZLATION•EQUIPMENT: Furnish and install ventilation <br />equipment as shown on plans and herein called for. <br />FANS: This contractor shall furnish and install roof <br />- vents and ventilating fans of size and type shown on the <br />drawings. Ventilating Units shall be of size and capacity <br />shown on equipment schedule. Cooperate with the Roofer in <br />securing the proper roof openings, curbs, flashings, etc. <br />Provide vent with bird screen and rain cap. <br />TOILET EXHAUST EANS shall be as scheduled. Provide duct <br />from fan, through roof with Belmont roof cap. <br />REFRIGERANT PZPING 3Y3TEM: Furnish and install <br />refrigerant piping system which shall be Type L copper <br />tubing with 95-5 solder. All refrigerant piping shall be <br />sized in strict accordance with equipment manufacturer's <br />recommendations. Install lines in wall to attic, between . <br />. floors and to mechanical room. Verify exact finished <br />grade before setting compressors. <br />FLEXIBLE DUCT CONNECTIONS: Provide and install flexible <br />duct connections securely held in place and made airtight, <br />where duct work is concealed. Omit where ductwork is <br />exposed. Flexible material shall be made a heavy glass <br />fabric double coated with neoprene as manufactured by <br />Ventfabricks, Inc. Install 21-0" section at each outlet. <br />Ir. <br />
