Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />E. 1705 E Booth, City Block 227-B, Lot lA <br />Owner: Amanda L McBride, 1758 W Austin, Paris, TX 75460 <br />No contact with the owner. Was purchased 1/6/12 from Steve Coker, that is when <br />the t�es stopped being paid. $406.49 back taxes owed. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures where there is fire damage along the peak of the roof, <br />there are broken windows and extensive fire damage to the inside of the house. <br />Siding is falling off on the east side of the house. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />F. 1336 Fitzhugh, East Park Addition, Block Q, Lot 27 <br />Owner: JKJ Real Properties LTD 495 CR 43330, Paris, TX 75462 <br />Mr. Talley stated that this property was purchased by Jamie Jetton at the February <br />tax sale. Mr. Talley spoke with Skylar Burchinal who is doing property <br />maintenance and asked for an extension. He agrees that it needs to be demolished <br />but because of all of the work they are doing at the old Cherry Street Manor they <br />are extremely busy. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures where the house is unsecure. There are holes in the <br />roof that were put there by the Paris Fire Department for training purposes when it <br />was a city property. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 60 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Vicky Ballard, seconded by Wendell Moore to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 60 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property.
