ER/Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br />-- Shall relate to a particular project and be peculiar to that <br /> project, but shall not weaken the character or intent of the <br /> General Conditions. <br /> <br /> 12.2 FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS <br /> <br /> On Federally Funded Projects, the Owner may waive, suspend, or modify any <br /> Article in these General Conditions which conflicts with any Federal <br /> statute, rule, regulation or procedure, where such waiver, suspension or <br /> modification is essential to receipt by the Owner of such Federal funds for <br /> the project. In the case of a project wholly financed by Federal funds, <br /> any standards required by the enabling Federal statute, or any Federal <br /> rules, regulations or procedures adopted pursuant thereto, shall be <br /> controlling. <br /> <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> Refer to Cited Articles in General Conditions. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE II. LAWS GOVERNING CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> 2.2 Waqe Rates: No wage rates are specified for this project. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE III. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND BONDS <br /> <br /> 3.1 CoDies Furnished - DrawinGs and Specifications: The Contractor will be <br /> furnished free of charge five (5) complete sets of Contract Drawings and <br /> Specifications prior to beginning the work. <br /> <br /> 3.4 Performance and Payment Bonds: <br /> <br /> 3.4.4 Attorneys-in-fact who sign bid bonds must file with each bond a <br /> certified and effectively dated copy of their power of attorney. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE IV. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br /> 4.2 Access to and Inspection of the Work: At the convenience of the duly <br /> authorized representative of the Owner, operations may be temporarily shut <br /> down to visually check the work in progress as necessary for the Owner to <br /> be fully informed as to the Contractor's performance as specified. No claim <br /> for additional cost shall be accepted as a result of the Contractor's such <br /> expected cooperation. A list of authorized representatives will be <br /> submitted to the Contractor by the Engineer/Project Manager. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE V. CONTRACT RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br /> 5.4 Contractor's Superintendent: The Contractor shall notify the Owner's <br /> Representative in writing, naming the Superintendent assigned to the <br /> <br /> 4/11/03 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
