ERI ConsuRing, Inc. <br /> <br />-- 1.1.6.4 A decontamination unit consisting of a dirty room, <br /> shower, and clean room shall be installed as <br /> specified in the regulations. Required storage for <br />-- clean clothes and for respirators shall be <br /> provided. <br /> <br />-- 1.1.6.5 The shower shall be equipped with hot and cold <br /> water and personal hygiene supplies as specified in <br /> the regulations. Shower water shall be filtered <br />-- through two or more staged filters to at least 3 <br /> microns and the filtered water shall be discharged <br /> to the sanitary sewer. The decontamination unit <br />-- shall be in the location submitted by the <br /> contractor and approved by the consultant. <br /> <br />-- 1.1.6.6 A two chamber bag-out unit shall be established as <br /> required by the regulations and the wash water <br /> shall be filtered to a minimum of 3 microns as <br />_ specified for shower water. The wash water shall <br /> be discharged to the sanitary sewer. The bag-out <br /> facility shall be in the location submitted by the <br />_ contractor and approved by the consultant. <br /> <br /> 1.1.6.7 The consultant will conduct ventilation smoke <br />_ testing a_nd shall approve the enclosure, <br /> decontamination facility, bag out and the <br /> differential pressure level prior to any removal <br />_ activities. <br /> <br /> 1.1.6.8 Observation windows (18" x 18") shall be used for <br /> each enclosure which is constructed to complete the <br /> project. These observation windows shall be placed <br /> in strategic locations to allow multiple viewing <br /> angles and locations. The consultant's <br /> representative shall indicate those areas where <br /> observation windows shall be installed. <br /> <br /> 1.1.7 Lockdown: Lockdown shall be performed following the <br /> final visual inspection, which will be performed by the <br /> consultant's project manager. After the lockdown has <br /> dried for 6 hours, or earlier if the consultant approves, <br /> the area will be inspected by the consultant and the <br /> project superintendent. The project superintendent shall <br /> sign the clearance sample request for the contractor and <br /> the consultant will collect clearance samples. <br /> <br /> 1.1.8 Clearance: <br /> <br /> 1.1.8.1 Clearance samples will be collected by aggressive <br /> sampling methods.
