Earl Smith, City Engineer, spoke favorably of the petition to rezone the Wise Field <br />ballpark. <br />No opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made to approve the rezoning to a Public Lands and Institution <br />District (PLI). Motion was made by Curtis Fendley_ and seconded by Joe <br />McCarthy. The motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of the City of Paris for a <br />change in zoning from a Multiple Family Dwelling District 1 (MF -1) to <br />a Public Lands and Institution District (PLI) on Lot 9, Block 151, <br />located at 616 W. Washington. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Earl Smith, City Engineer, spoke favorably of the petition to rezone the property, <br />616 W. Washington, explaining that this property belongs to Paris -Lamar County <br />Health Department. <br />No opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made to approve the rezoning to a Public Lands and Institution <br />District (PLI). Motion was made by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Eva <br />Flenniken. The motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />5. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Mark Cunningham for a <br />change in zoning from a Commercial District (C) to a Light <br />Industrial District (LI) on Lot 14, Block 178, located in the 2400 Block <br />of South Church. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mark Cunningham spoke favorably of the petition to rezone, 2400 Block of South <br />Church, to build a storage warehouse for a local contractor. Equipment will be <br />stored inside 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse building. <br />No opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made to approve the rezoning to a Light Industrial District (LI). <br />Motion was made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Eva Flenniken. <br />The motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
