The <br />consensus was that it probably would. <br /> <br />City Councilwoman Neeley said the whole evaluation was a job performance <br />thing, which would lump everything together in one category, and she <br />questioned the necessity of having a "Job Performance" category. She felt like, <br />instead of changing the name of category No. 1, it should be taken out. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley said they would take out item No. 1, "Job Knowledge." He <br />indicated this would be on the Judge' s evaluation only, as they were taking each <br />evaluation separately. <br /> <br />On "Communication Skills," Mayor Fendley thought that would correspond <br />with the Judge's duties. City Councilwoman Neeley thought people would be <br />complaining if the Judge didn't have communication skills and the Council <br />would know. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley thought equity and fairness would be necessary and all agreed. <br />He asked for the Council's opinion on Interpersonal Skills. <br /> <br />Councilman Bell mentioned he had brought copies for the Council members of <br />some other Employee Performance Reviews, one in particular he liked the best, <br />covered three (3) areas, with a total of thirty (30) different items. He related <br />some of the items listed on their Job Knowledge included attitude, planning, <br />organization, cooperation, communication, work quality and quantity, problem <br />solving, learning ability, and follow through. On Personal Attributes, it <br />included personality, stability, judgment, initiative, motivation, personal insight, <br />emotional maturity, leadership, dependability, professionalism, timeliness, <br />attendance; and Interpersonal Skills included relationship skills, informal <br />leadership, flexibility, empathy, personal courtesy, telephone courtesy, <br />appearance, congeniality, genuineness and participation. <br /> <br />He passed a copy out to the Council members and said he thought <br />communication skills consolidated a lot of these. Councilman Bell indicated <br />this form was being used by the Red River Authority. He thought that to totally <br /> <br /> <br />
