WCG has reliable contacts from coast to coast, We will contact individuals <br /> <br />identified as potential candidates to discuss the career opportunity presented by the City. <br /> <br />The objective of this effort will be to identify higWy qualified individuals, and then to <br /> <br />interest these potential candidates in submitting a resume for the City's consideration. <br /> <br />It is important to note that wce; does not rely on existing lists and databases of prospective <br /> <br /> <br />candidates. Our approach is based on developing a personal knowledge of candidates and <br /> <br />relationships with reliable sourccs for recommcndations. For every search that we complete, <br />a specific list of candidates is generated based on the unique characteristics of each position <br /> <br />description and profile. <br /> <br />TASK 3: <br />SCREENING PROCESS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />INITIAL REPORT OF RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />After the initial solicitation phase, WCG will review all resumes received to determine which <br />candidates appear to have the desired background and qualifications for the position. This <br /> <br />step will include an in-depth review of the resumes of any internal candidates on the same <br />basis as external candidates, Resumes of candidates who obviously do not meet the desired <br /> <br />minimum qualifications established by the City will be eliminated from further consideration. <br /> <br />We believe that one of the strengths of the WCG search process is our handling of <br /> <br />candidates for a position. <br /> <br />Each candidate submitting a resume will be sent an <br /> <br />acknowledgement letter by WCG giving an approximate schedule for the search.
