MINUTES <br />TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 1998 <br />515 o'clock P.M. <br />COUNCIL ROOM - CITY HALL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, June 2, 1998 with the following <br />members present: <br />1. Cleo Holmes 4. Pam Campbell <br />2. Mary Lane 5. Kenneth Webb <br />3. Charles Thompson <br />The city staff was represented by Assistant Police Chief James Barnett. <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:35 P.M., when a Quarum was present, by Assistant Chief <br />James Barnett since the Chairman and Co- Chairman we not present. <br />Consideration was given to placing Stop Signs at the following locations: <br />1. Lewis Lane at Stone Avenue, stopping Northbound traffic on Lewis Lane at Stone Avenue. <br />2. 12' N.E. and Johnson Street, stopping Westbound traffic on Johnson at 12th N.E. <br />3. 17th N.E. and Johnson Street, stopping Eastbound traffic on Johnson at 17th N.E. <br />4.4 th S.W. and Parr Avenue, stopping East and West bound traffic on Parr at 41 S.W. <br />After discussion Charles Thompson made a motion to combine all the requests and to <br />recommend the Stop Signs be placed as requested and recommended by the staff. Mary Lane <br />seconded and the motion carried 5 ayes to 0 nays. <br />There being no further bus' ess the meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M. <br />J es Barnet <br />
