MINUTES <br />TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />Tuesday, May 7, 1991 <br />5:15 o'clock P.M. <br />Council Room - City Hall <br />Paris, Texas <br />The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, May 7, 1991, with the <br />following members present: <br />1. Richard Fuller <br />2. Tom Kol ko <br />3. Charlie Thompson <br />4. Frank Sherman <br />5. Judy Lutz <br />6. Billy Trenado <br />7. Ed Ellis <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:20 P.M. with Chairman Kolko presiding. <br />The City Staff was represented by Assistant Police Chief James Barnett. <br />The minutes of the April 2, 1991 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />The first item of business was to consider a request to place Stop Signs at the <br />following locations: <br />(1.) On the Un -named Alley (known as Lovers Lane) intersecting the 3200 Blk. <br />of Mahaffey Street stopping North and South bound traffic in the alley <br />at Mahaffey. <br />(2.) On the Un -named Alley (known as Lovers Lane) intersecting the 3200 Blk. <br />of Clark Lane stopping North and South bound traffic in the alley at <br />Clark Lane. <br />(3.) On the Un -named Alley (known as Lovers Lane) intersecting 33rd S.E. in <br />the 700 Blk. stopping traffic in the alley at 33rd S.E. from the West. <br />Paris Police Chief Karl Louis appeared and spoke in favor of placing the Stop <br />Signs as requested. <br />After discussion Charlie Thompson made a motion to combine all three requests. <br />Billy Trenado seconded and that motion carried 6 ayes to 0 nays with Ed Ellis <br />not being present. <br />Ed Ellis came in. <br />Charlie Thompson then made a motion to place the Stop Signs as requested by Chief <br />Louis. Judy Lutz seconded and the motion carried 7 ayes to 0 nays. <br />There being no furthu business the meeting adjourned at 5 :30 P.M. <br />ames Barnett <br />Assistant Chief of Police <br />
