MINUTES <br />Paris Main Street Advisory Board <br />A regular monthly meeting of the Paris Main Street Advisory Board was held on Wednesday, <br />June 7, 2000, at 3 p.m., in Heritage Hall, with Terry Townsend, Paris Main Street Manager, <br />presiding. <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />Dr. William Hayden Barbara Wilson Dwight Chaney <br />Linda Suarez Bill Payne Ann Wyche <br />Suzy Harper Karen Wilkerson <br />David House Scott McDowell <br />Also present were: <br />Terry Townsend, Manager, Paris Main Street <br />Terry Townsend called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. There were no minutes of the meeting <br />held on May 17. <br />Bill Payne presented drafts of Historic Preservation Ordinances and a description of the <br />Downtown Historical District. On a motion by Dr. William Hayden, seconded by Linda Suarez, <br />the Board unanimously voted to review these documents at home and return next week with <br />changes or corrections completing this aspect of the public forum preparations. The Board <br />complimented Bill Payne on his work in this area. <br />The Board then discussed when the public forum will be held and outlining support for these <br />ordinances. <br />Karen Wilkerson will prepare a letter to be mailed to all potential Mains Street Supporters asking <br />for them to purchase a sticker for their front doors. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:50 p.m. <br />ind Su Suarez, ber <br />Paris Main Street Advisory Board <br />
