PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 16, 1987 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Dick Boots said that the Culberetson portraits, which are valued at <br />$20,000 each, are ready to be picked up from Fort Worth. He said that a <br />few of the Cisneros sketches would be taken there for evaluation and an <br />estimate on restoration and framing obtained. There are 28 of these prints <br />which were used as illustrations in Neville's HISTORY OF LAMAR COUNTY and <br />which were presented to the Library by The Paris News. <br />He then presented the landscape plans for the new grounds, noting that <br />the soil which was washed away by the heavy rains would have to be replaced <br />before new shrubs and trees could be planted. <br />Rogene Patterson reported for the Nominating Committee and these officers <br />were elected to take office in October: <br />Chairman: Dr. Don Black <br />Vice - Chairman: Mr. William Hagood <br />Secretary: Mrs. Frances Ellis <br />The meeting was then adjourned. <br />Date approved: <br />Frances Ellis, Secretary <br />
