Paris Public Library Advisory Board Minutes Page 2 <br />September 21, 1988 <br />Mr. Tate moved that the Library Rules of Conduct for <br />Library Patrons be adopted as presented at the August 17 <br />meeting, and the motion was seconded and passed. Members <br />agreed that the rules should be printed and posted in the <br />Library and a copy placed in books checked out by patrons. <br />Friends of the Library President Claire Haslam announced <br />that new membership cards for the Friends of the Library are <br />being printed and also said that the Friend's Book Review <br />luncheon will be held at the First United Methodist: Church on <br />October 28, 1988 and tickets will be $15.00 each. <br />Youth Librarian Pamela Sidnell announced that Story Time <br />for children will begin in October. <br />Mrs Alsobrook said that she has been invited to speak on <br />Promoting Public Libraries with Legislators for the Texas <br />Symposium on Advisory Councils in Austin, October 27 -28, <br />1988. She and Joanna Parsons (the alternate lay <br />representative for NETLS) will be attending the Netls meeting <br />in Gilmer during the week of September 26, 1988. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5 p.m. <br />Date Approved.
