Average 5.05 1.74 <br />Thus, the percentage of books overdue at first notice increased by 1.789/6. However, the <br />percentage of books overdue at second notice increased only .62%. (These are our real concern <br />anyway.) Taking Into consideration the fact that we started the new policy at the very worst <br />time (the beginning of school and during the Christmas holidays) we were convinced that no <br />significant difference occurred. it would have been ideal if we had the same figures for the <br />previous year, but our system is not set up that way.
