Paris Public Lzbrar, Advzsory Board Paqe 2 of 2 <br />Minutes - Tuesday, November i5. 1988 <br />Following a discussion, Board members agreed not to <br />sponsor a float in the December 10 Christmas parade. <br />The following changes were announced by Ms . Lewis: <br />charge for micro-fiche prints reduced from 25 to 15 cents; no <br />charge will be made for reserving a book; change will be <br />provided for copier use; a new "Reference Statistics" form to <br />record reference assistance has been placed in four areas of <br />the Library; that "Please do not re-shelve books -- place <br />them here" signs are being prepared +or the shelves so that <br />proper re-shelving may be done by library employees. <br />' <br />Mrs. Shelton moved that the Board present a letter of <br />appreciation to Mrs. Sample commending her work as Acting <br />Librarian and that a copy be sent to the City manager. The <br />motion was seconded, discussed and passed and the Secretary <br />was asked to prepare the letter. <br />Chairman Hagood invited the Board to r1zs home +or the <br />December meeting, and suggested that the Mayor and City <br />Manager be invited. Board members also discussed inviting the <br />Past President of the Friends of the Library; Youth Librarian <br />Pamela Sidnell; Roslyn Sample, Boots-.
