Mrs. Hayter said reservations were coming in well for the <br />February 22 Annual Luncheon the Friends were holding at <br />Paris Junior College when Ethel Sexton of Dallas would <br />present the program. A table for membership sales would <br />be available. She said memberships were being put on <br />computer and the Friends did not want to make a big drive <br />since $1,200 in dues had already been received. <br />Ms. Lewis announced tax forms are available to the public <br />now. Members of AARP will provide Income Tax service for <br />the elderly in the Gallery, beginning in February. <br />She discussed the Trust Fund Accounts saying $103,000 was <br />in the Capital Account; $1,306.81 in the Love interest <br />account; $457.39 in the Poteet and $1,025.57 in the <br />Wilbor- DeShong interest accounts. <br />She announced new programs for children with four a week <br />to be provided: Bed Time Story Time; Day Time Story Time; <br />Toddler Time; and Super Saturday programs. She said <br />National Geographic and Public Broadcasting System had <br />given permission to tape "Cats" and three other specials <br />which will be added to the Library's collection. <br />She recommended The Paris News be sent a letter from the <br />Board commending them on the excellent publicity given the <br />Library in 1990.
