The Director advised about $200 of the Bond money was to be used <br />to rework the circulation desk. <br />She announced the Friends had provided more than $900 for the <br />Summer Reading Club programs which included funds to pay for <br />posters, materials, furniture and guest storytellers. <br />Hayter said the income from the upcoming October 11 Book Review <br />which the Friends of the Library is sponsoring will go to assist <br />the automation fund. <br />Chairman Gibbs announced that Thomas Seay would serve as NETLS <br />Lay Representative for the coming year and Jackie Alsobrook <br />would be the Alternate. <br />She recommended the NETLS July 19 meeting in Canton to be the <br />date and place of the July Board meeting because City Manager, <br />Michael Malone, will receive the NETLS Government Official of <br />the Year Award.
