Library Advisory Board <br />September 16, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br />Friends of the Library President Amanda Green reported that volunteers <br />were continuing to prepare for the upcoming book sale to be held in the <br />Gallery September 2 -3. Advertisement for the sale will be seen in flyers <br />and on banners around town. <br />Dr. Green also reported that local hospital administration agreed to allow <br />the placement of information within the hospital related to memorial <br />donations for the library. <br />Ms. McAnally gave an update on the installation of the Polaris Integrated <br />Library System. The Library will be closed August 22 -24 and will reopen <br />on August 25 with the addition of 8 new computers purchased with funds <br />donated from the Friends of the Library at a cost of $7, 284. <br />Ms. McAnaIly will continue to update Library policies. The Circulation <br />portion of the policies is almost complete for Board review next month. <br />The meeting adjourned at 4:50 PM. <br />The next meeting will be Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in the Gallery. <br />Deborah Hatley, ecretary Date <br />
