iv N, Lie ,-'ecruIted to replace the RN who recently left <br />the Health Department. Dr. Deachley said the existing <br />LVN is interested in this position. We need to check; <br />with the State to see if she could remain the water lab <br />tech. and an RHC nurse also. This was agreed upon. <br />Recruit an office manager for the RHC to oversee <br />scheduling, billing, collection and coordination of <br />ether office functions. This person will be ultimately <br />responsible for making sure these monies are coming in. <br />This was agreed upon but nothing will be done about <br />this position as yet. <br />Initially, to utilize hospital expertise in the <br />application and start -up phase, with the nurse <br />practitioner (when hired) responsible for the daily <br />oversight. This was agreed upon. <br />The RHC "Administrator" be appointed from the Rural <br />Health Clinic Board by the RHC Board. The <br />Administrator appointed does not have to be an employee <br />of the Health Department. This person basically serves <br />as a sounding board for the nurse practitioner. Dr. <br />Cutrel1. asked what relationship this has with Anthony. <br />iw1iE::e rlor -by said Anthony's duties would not diminish in <br />any way. If anything they would increase due to <br />handling the RHC budget. Mrs. Norment made a motion to <br />recommend to the Health Board that Julie Maddo;: be <br />named the Administrator. Gary Gunder seconded. All <br />were in favor. <br />Evelyn Freeman told the Board about the luncheon with Mr. <br />Dombroski. She said that there was no problem naming the <br />City and County as owners of the RHC. She also told the <br />Board that Mr. Dombroski said there were avenues for <br />uninsured patients but that there is an application <br />process. The State Health Commis loner ,jants to <br />complement the four institutions working together to start <br />this RHC. Mr. Dombroski ;rude a suggestion that we contact <br />Dr. Crowder in Tyler for any help. <br />The meeting adjourned at 8c,05.
