City Council Drainage Study Committee
April 2, 2001
Page 5
since the 24t' S. E. Project has been designated as the number one project,
which is going to be expensive, and until they get a handle on this project
and see how far the city can go with it, but after it is determined and see if
there is any money leftover, or if the committee wants to revisit the issue,
he proposed that the City Engineer look as some phases for working on this
project. From the Master Plan. Project Number Six, Big Sandy is
not a problem as far as drainage, it is just a problem for the crews to have
to mow four to six times a year rather than having a concrete ditch and this
would cut another $600,000.00 from the Master Plan that. City Manager
Malone said Project Eight is not causing any problems at this time, but
probably needs to be channelized at some point. He said that Project
