M. <br />COUNCIL R" - CtTY HALL <br />Pun-, I rNZA's <br />2'he Planning and Zo -drtg Comisslon met in a called meeting Monday, April 11, <br />'977 at 5:15 P.M. in the Council Room, City Hall via the following members <br />present: <br />I. Henschel McKinney -- ChaIrman <br />Z. Spencer Abbett <br />3. Clark lsstes, Jr. <br />4. Lee G. Pruitt <br />S. Sorer Thornton <br />Chairman McKinney called the meeting to oz°der and stated the purpose of the <br />meeting was to consider approval of the Preliminary Plat of Winchester <br />Estates which was tabled at the last regular meeting. <br />The plat had been tabled in order to discuss the possibility of extending <br />Ballard Drive to the east boundary line of w1neheeter Estates Instead of <br />the ctrl des sac arrangement proposed. <br />Joe Mc:ellum, Director of Commnity Development, stated he had discussed <br />the matter with Bobby Whitaker and Jack Doman, tho developers involved <br />and Mr. Denman had agreed to provide for the street connection through <br />his seldition as xeconmnded by the Coamiss.ion. <br />Following discussion, Mr. Thornton made a notion to approve the plat <br />subject to the extension of Ballard Drive to the east boundary line of the <br />.j abdivision In alignman4. with Ballard Drivel In the 2bwn North subdivision <br />and subject to the exceptions listed In the Director of Public Works memo - <br />randim dated April 4, 1977, marked Exhibit A and attached hereto. <br />Mr. Estes seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br />With no further business to consider, the meeting was adjourned. <br />oe N.
