r� <br />Douglas D. Carlow appeared on behalf of the petitioners. No opposition <br />appeared. After discussion, the motion was made by Al Cathcart, with <br />second by Herschel R. McKinney, that the Commission recommend to <br />the City Council that the requested zoning, excluding Lot, 17, conditioned <br />as recommended by the City Administration, be granted.. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Next, the Secretary, T. K. Haynes, explained a requested revision <br />to the previously recommended Proposed Fire Limits and stated that the <br />City Administration did not oppose the requested change. City Planner <br />Ed Houk presented reasons for placement of fire limit lines. After <br />discussion, the motion was made by Spencer Abbett, with second by Al <br />Cathcart, that no action be taken concerning this item and requested <br />specific recommendation by the Staff with regard to the recommended <br />fire limit area. The motion passed unanimously. <br />The Secretary, T. K. Haynes, reported the City Engineer's appro- <br />val of Minor Plat of Lot 18 and 181, City Block 249, owned by (a. L. <br />Rainey. After discussion, the motion was made by R. B. Staples, Jr. , <br />with second by Charlie Adkins, that said minor plat be received and <br />approved and that the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />sign the same. The motion passed unanimously. <br />The Secretary, T. K.
