r <br />City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, stated that a portion of the property <br />was involved in an annexation process and would not be completed <br />until the regular Council Meeting on December 10, 1973, and that <br />any recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission could <br />not be finally acted upon until that date. A. W. Clem, ITT and Kay <br />Brown appeared in favor of the petition. After discussion, the motion <br />was made by Clark Estes, Jr. , with second by R. B. Staples, Jr. , <br />that the requested zoning be granted. The motion passed unanimously. <br />The petition of Rachel Faber, to change from a Commercial <br />District (C) to a Planned Development District (PD), Combination h, <br />Lot 4, City Block 223, was taken as the next item of business, and <br />the public hearing was opened. The City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, <br />explained that the petitioner had not filed a plot plan try accordance <br />with Ordinance No. 1710 and requested that the public hearing be <br />continued until the next regular meeting to afford the petitioner an <br />opportunity to provide such plat. After discussion, the motion was <br />made by Al Cathcart, with second by Spencer Abbett, that the public <br />hearing be continued to the next regular meeting of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission on December 4, 1973.
