MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ADjUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS <br />May 7, 1974 <br />The recessed meeting of April 23, 1974 was reconveined this 7th day of <br />May 1974, at 5:15 P.M., in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas. The <br />fOlowing members were present: Dr. B.M. Felty, Chairperson; F.D. Mallory, <br />Y11; Alternate Chairperson; Mr. Hubart Westfa7l, Secretary; and Dr. James <br />Cruse to Others present included: Mr. Kerry Sweatt, City Manager; Mr. John <br />Cooke, Director of Public Works; Mr. Ed Kharbat, acting City Engineer; Mr. <br />Nathan Bell, property owner; and Mr. Jim Nobel Thompson, attorney. <br />The first item of business to came before the Board wras the matter of Lot <br />11, Block 139, belonging to Mr. Nathan Bell. Mr. Bell requested that the Board <br />consider his requests for exceptions, on the existing structure, on the condition <br />that Lot 11 be divided, by minor plat, into two lots, for the purpose of build- <br />ing a second duplex. <br />The Board at this time studied the appeals of Mr. Bell and granted appeal <br />No. 7401 and 7402, r nr I'd nd sidc yard re Uirements, Cf existing structure., <br />:Object to the Appeal NoeVOT;%beption to established <br />00 building line, was denied. Appeal No. 7404, exception to min Int-Q& <br />of 120' down to 100', on newly established lot, was grAnIgd. The Board also <br />Instructed Mr. Sell that any inprovonents should be done in such a way as to <br />make the existing structure appear to front on Brame Street. <br />There being no further bus Fuses the Vard adjourned. <br />H.
