PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AUGUST 29 1999 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, August 2, 1999 at 5:30 in the City Hall - Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: 1. Reeves Hayter 5. Marshall Kent 2. Michael Dangerfield 6. Curtis Fendley 3. Joe McCarthy 7. Louis Yates, Jr. 4. Cesar Horta 8. Bobby L. Myers Earl Smith, the City Engineer was also present. The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. The minutes from the July 6, 1999, regular planning and zoning meeting were approved with a motion by Marshall Kent seconded by Joe McCarthy. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. 2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Brandy Draper for a change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple- Family Dwelling District No. 1 (AV-1), Lot 4, City Block 257, being number 2208 East Cherry. The public hearing was declared open. There was no one present to speak in favor of the petition. The public hearing was declared closed. 3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Brandy Draper for a change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MY -1), Lot 4, City Block 257, being number 2208 East Cherry. Item remained tabled. 4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Calvin L. Day for a change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 2B, City Block 235, being number 1220 NW 191h Street. The public hearing was declared open. Calvin Day, Box 45, Pattonville, spoke in favor of the petition, he wants to build a new building for a machine shop. There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed.
