PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING DECEMBER 69 1999 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, December 6, 1999 at 5:30 in the City Hall - Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: 1. Reeves Hayter 5. Cesar Horta 2. Bobby L. Myers 6. Marshall Kent 3. Joe McCarthy 7. Louis Yates 4. Michael Dangerfield 8. Bill Coleman Earl Smith, the City Engineer was also present. The meeting was called to order by Marshall Kent at 5:35. The minutes from the November 1, 1999, regular planning and zoning meeting were approved with a motion by Joe McCarthy seconded by Bobby Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. Chairman Reeves Hayter entered the meeting at 5:40 and presided thereafter. 2. The next item was tabled at the November 1, 1999, meeting. Motion was made by Bobby Myers and seconded by Joe McCarthy to bring item from table. Motion carried by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays. 3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Eric Clifford for a change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F), Lots 5, 6, 7, & 8, Block 7 and Lots 8, 9. & 10, Block 8, Springlake Addition, being the 300 Block N. Collegiate. The public hearing was declared open. Eric Clifford, 3065 Oak Creek Drive, spoke in favor of the petition stating that he bought the lots from the City by bid and thought they were already zoned Two - Family (217) which is needed to build duplexes (1250 S.F. with side garages) There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. 4.
