2 <br />Chairman Nutt stated that the Commission had been discussing the <br />Master Plan and Subdivision Regulations update for several months <br />and had invited input from interested groups and individuals. <br />He said that representatives from the utility companies had been <br />invited to tonight's meeting and asked them to present any concerns <br />they had which should be considered in the updates. <br />Jo Ann Parkman and Marvin Snodgrass were present representing Texas <br />Utilities Electric Co. Mrs. Parkman said there were no specific <br />matters of concern to present but she wanted to cooperate with the <br />Commission on any development in the preliminary stages in order <br />to minimize problems in providing electrical service. <br />Mr. Snodgrass requested notification of any proposed plats or <br />replats when they are presented. <br />Roy Sparks, representing Lone Star Gas Co. stated that his company <br />had always been kept informed by the City about changes in codes <br />and regulations .• He assured the Commission that Lone Star Gas <br />wanted to be part of any discussion on major changes to the Master <br />Plan. <br />Mr. McCollum was instructed to keep the utility companies advised <br />of plats and to mail them copies of the Commission agendas. <br />The Replat of Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Gibbons Park Addition was <br />presented along with the City Engineer's recommendation. It was <br />pointed out by Mr. McCollum that the owner had requested a waiver <br />of the curb and gutter requirements. He said the City Engineer had <br />considered the feasibility of curb and gutter based on established <br />criteria and felt that it could be properly installed along the <br />Property frontage. The City Engineer recommended that the waiver <br />not be approved. <br />After discussion a motion was made by Mr. Copeland, seconded by Mr. <br />Perry to "recommend approval of the replat with the exceptions <br />listed in City Engineer's Memorandum dated January 7, 1991, marked <br />Exhibit A and attached hereto. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Copeland asked to be excused from discussion of the next two <br />items involving the Oak Creek subdivision. A motion was made by <br />Ms. Ausbie, seconded by Mr. Newberry to excuse Mr. Copeland. The <br />motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays and Mr. Copeland left the Council <br />Room. <br />
