3 <br />The Final Plat of Lot 1, Block H, Oak Creek Phase III was <br />recommended for approval on a motion by Ms. Ausbie, seconded by Mr. <br />Perry subject to the exceptions listed in City Engineer's <br />Memorandum dated January 7, 1991, marked Exhibit B and attached <br />hereto. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Final Plat -of Lot 1, Block I, Oak Creek Phase III was <br />recommended for approval on a motion by Mr. Perry, seconded by Mr. <br />Newberry subject to the exceptions listed in City Engineer's <br />Memorandum dated January, 7, 1991, marked Exhibit C and attached <br />hereto. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Copeland rejoined the meeting at this time. <br />The Final Plat of Lot 3E, City Block 266 was recommended for <br />approval on a motion by Mr. Copeland, seconded by Ms. Ausbie, <br />subject to the exceptions listed in City Engineer's Memorandum <br />dated January 7, 1991, marked Exhibit D and attached hereto.' The <br />motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Chairman Nutt declared the public hearing open on the petition to <br />close streets and alleys in the Texas and Pacific Addition. <br />Brad Hutchison, representing Wall Concrete Company the major <br />landowner involved in the petition, presented a drawing showing the <br />various streets and alleys that were requested to be closed. <br />He pointed out that the streets and alleys had never been opened <br />for use and their locations were not evident on the ground. <br />He said the purpose of the petition was to allow Wall Concrete Co. <br />who owns or is buying properties adjacent to the streets and <br />alleys, to.be able to expand their operation. <br />No one else spoke on the matter and the public hearing was closed. <br />Earl Smith, City Engineer, recommended approval of thb petition <br />with the granting of necessary easements for utilities and <br />drainage. <br />Following discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Newberry; seconded <br />by Ms. Ausbie to recommend closing of the streets and alleys shown <br />in the petition with the provisions that necessary easements be <br />granted for drainage and utilities. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />With no further business to consider the meeting was adjourned. <br />e N. McCollum <br />Secretary ex- officio <br />
